Equipment

  • 1 pizza pan lightly oiled
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast 2 1/4 tsp
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Toppings

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers sliced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onions thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup black olives sliced
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add flour, olive oil, and salt, mixing until dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 to 40 minutes until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) as the dough rises.
  • While the dough rises, prepare your toppings by slicing the vegetables and shredding the cheeses.
  • Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface to fit your pizza pan. Transfer the dough to the prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle the cheese blend over the dough, ensuring even distribution. Arrange the vegetable toppings over the cheese.
  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.

Serving

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.

Storage

  • Store any leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
