Ingredients
  

For the Dough

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

For the Toppings

  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Toss the garlic and mushrooms in olive oil, and spread them on a baking sheet. Roast for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  • Increase the oven temperature to 475°F, placing a pizza stone inside if using, to preheat.

Assemble the Pizza

  • Punch down the risen dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Spread the roasted garlic and mushrooms evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Transfer the pizza to the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Serving

  • Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Place any leftover pizza slices in an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 3 days.
