  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place them in a slow cooker with marinara sauce. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
  • Use two forks to shred the cooked chicken. Stir it back into the sauce to ensure even coating.

Assembling the Sliders

  • Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese and chicken mixture, pressing down gently.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the sliders from the oven and let cool slightly. Cut and serve warm.
