Pasta Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta Any favorite type of pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups milk Can be substituted with cream for a richer sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Other cheeses like mozzarella or Gruyere can be used
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Add the pasta and milk to the pot. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 10-12 minutes.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For variations, consider adding sautéed spinach, mushrooms, or a pinch of red pepper flakes. Leftover pasta can be transformed into a casserole by baking with cheese and breadcrumbs.
