Ingredients

  • 4 cups mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 3 cups sliced peaches
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Crisp Topping

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter cubed

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine mixed berries, sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss gently to combine ensuring the fruit is evenly coated.
  • In another bowl, mix together rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cubed butter and use a pastry cutter to blend until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Transfer the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the crisp topping over the fruit to cover completely.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for about 10 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, place in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes until warmed through.
