Equipment

  • 1 Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup bell peppers sliced
  • 1/2 cup olives sliced
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Add olive oil and warm water. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F. Place a baking sheet inside to heat up as well.
  • While the dough rises, prepare your toppings. Slice the bell peppers, olives, and onion. Halve the cherry tomatoes and crumble the feta cheese.
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your preferred thickness. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Spread tomato sauce over the rolled-out dough, leaving a border for the crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly, followed by the prepared toppings.
  • Transfer the pizza on the parchment to the preheated baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. This helps set the toppings and makes it easier to serve.
  • Cut the pizza into slices and serve warm. Pair with a light salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
