Equipment

  • 1 pizza stone for crispier crust
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Baking Sheet lined with parchment paper

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 1 pound pizza dough homemade or store-bought

Toppings

  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onions
  • 1/2 cup artichoke hearts quartered
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh basil

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash and slice the bell peppers, red onions, and artichoke hearts. Slice the black olives and set all vegetables aside.
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  • On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a parchment-lined baking sheet or a pizza peel if using a stone.
  • Brush the rolled-out dough with olive oil. Arrange the sliced vegetables evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and crumbled feta cheese over the vegetables. Add dried oregano and fresh basil for added flavor.

Baking

  • Transfer the pizza to the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Serving

  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly. Slice into 8 pieces and serve hot. Enjoy with your favorite Mediterranean sides.

Storage

  • Wrap any leftover slices in foil or place them in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Notes

Pro Tips: Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust and experiment with different vegetable combinations. Ingredient Substitutions: Try using goat cheese instead of feta for a creamier texture. How to Serve: Serve with a side of Greek salad or hummus and pita bread. Storage & Freshness: Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for up to 3 days in the fridge. Make-Ahead Tips: Prepare the dough and chop the vegetables in advance for quicker assembly.
