Ingredients
  

For the Bagel Dough

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt thick yogurt works best
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano or thyme optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until evenly combined.
  • Add Greek yogurt and stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth and cohesive.
  • Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape each into a bagel.
  • Place bagels on the baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil and add herbs or seeds if using.
  • Bake until lightly golden and cooked through, then cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These bagels are meant to be light and gently flavored. Avoid heavy toppings if you plan to freeze them. Slice before freezing for easy toasting straight from frozen.
