Ingredients
  

Skillet

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  • Add onion and cook until softened.
  • Add bell peppers and garlic and cook until tender.
  • Season with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in tomato paste until combined.
  • Add chicken broth and simmer until flavors blend.

Notes

Serve with rice, pasta, or crusty bread. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to four days.
