Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, oregano, and sugar.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Use immediately or store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

Tips: For a milder flavor, use apple cider vinegar. Swap Dijon for yellow mustard, add lemon juice for zing, or fresh herbs for an herbaceous twist. This dressing can be made ahead of time to let flavors blend beautifully.
