Equipment

  • 1 pizza stone for baking
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large
  • 1 Baking Sheet optional

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water

Toppings

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce

Hot Honey Glaze

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface until smooth, about 5-7 minutes. Let rise in a greased bowl for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar. Heat over low heat until well combined. Set aside to cool.
  • Season chicken breast with salt and pepper. Cook on a grill or skillet until fully cooked through. Allow to rest before slicing into thin pieces.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F. Place a pizza stone in the oven to heat up as well.
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust. Top with sliced chicken and mozzarella cheese.
  • Place the pizza in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven. Drizzle the prepared hot honey glaze evenly over the top. Allow to cool slightly before slicing.

Serving

  • Slice the pizza into 8 pieces. Serve warm with your choice of sides and drinks.

Storage

  • Store any leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat slices in the oven to retain the crispy crust.
