Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Topping Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce Can substitute with marinara or pesto.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Can be substituted with vegan cheese.
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, olives) Feel free to swap with your favorites.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to fit your pizza pan.

Topping and Baking

  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough.
  • Top with mixed vegetables and mozzarella cheese.
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a crispy crust, use a pizza stone or preheated baking sheet. Store leftover pizza wrapped in plastic or foil in the fridge for up to three days.
