Ingredients
  

For the Dip

  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 2 percent or whole
  • 2 tbsp honey plus 1 tbsp more to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp orange zest optional
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips

Optional Protein Boost

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder optional

For Serving

  • strawberries
  • apple slices
  • grapes
  • whole grain graham crackers or whole grain wafers

Instructions
 

  • Add ricotta and Greek yogurt to a mixing bowl.
  • Add honey, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and orange zest if using.
  • Whip 30 to 60 seconds until smooth and fluffy.
  • If using protein powder, mix it in until fully combined.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips. Spoon into a serving bowl and top with extra chips if desired.
  • Serve with fruit and whole grain crackers for dipping.

Notes

Thicker dip: Drain ricotta in a fine mesh strainer for 10 minutes, then whip.
Storage: Refrigerate up to 4 days. Stir before serving.
