Healthy breakfast bagels with Greek yogurt are an easy homemade breakfast made without yeast and without long waiting. These soft, satisfying bagels bake up golden and are perfect for meal prep mornings, quick toasting, and simple breakfast sandwiches.

Ingredients
  

For the Bagel Dough

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until evenly combined.
  • Add Greek yogurt and stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape each into a bagel.
  • Place bagels on the baking sheet. Brush with egg wash if using and add toppings.
  • Bake until lightly golden and cooked through, then cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Full fat Greek yogurt gives the softest texture. If the dough feels sticky, add a little flour while kneading. Slice and freeze bagels for quick toasting on busy mornings.
