  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Peel and devein the shrimp, then pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in lemon juice and heavy cream. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Serving

  • Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese before serving. Serve immediately.
