Equipment

  • 1 pizza stone or baking sheet
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large
  • 1 Rolling Pin

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Greek Pizza Toppings

  • 1 cup Greek pizza sauce
  • 1 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup black olives sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano chopped

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place it in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Spread the Greek pizza sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and shredded mozzarella over the sauce. Evenly distribute the cherry tomatoes, olives, and red onion slices on top.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the toppings, and sprinkle with fresh oregano for extra flavor.

Serving

  • Carefully transfer the pizza to the hot pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with a fresh salad on the side.

Storage

  • If there are any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for a crispier texture.

Notes

Pro Tips: Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust. Let the dough rise fully for better texture. Balance toppings to prevent a soggy pizza.
Ingredient Substitutions: You can use pre-made pizza dough to save time. Substitute mozzarella with provolone for a different taste.
How to Serve: Pair with a fresh Greek salad or roasted vegetables. Serve as a main course or as part of a Mediterranean-inspired meal.
