Equipment

  • 1 pizza stone pre-heated
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 Mixing Bowl large

Ingredients

Pizza Dough

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water

Toppings

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups fresh spinach washed and dried
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water in a bowl. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for about an hour until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F and place a pizza stone inside to heat while you prepare the toppings.
  • Mince the garlic and wash and dry the spinach. Grate the parmesan cheese if needed.

Serving

  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the minced garlic over the base, followed by a layer of spinach. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown. Let it cool slightly before slicing.

Storage

  • Store leftover pizza in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
