Equipment

  • 1 pizza stone preheated
  • 1 Rolling Pin
  • 1 oven preheated to 475°F

Ingredients

Pizza Base

  • 1 prepared pizza dough
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup fresh pesto
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

Preparation

  • Allow the pizza dough to come to room temperature. Roll it out into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F, placing a pizza stone inside to heat up as well.
  • Brush olive oil over the rolled-out dough. Spread the pesto evenly, followed by the spinach, garlic slices, and mozzarella cheese.

Serving

  • Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.

Storage

  • Store leftover slices in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.

Notes

Pro Tips: Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust. Let the dough rest to improve elasticity. Ingredient Substitutions: Use kale instead of spinach for a different flavor. How to Serve: Serve with a light salad and a glass of white wine. Storage & Freshness: Store in the fridge and reheat in the oven for the best texture. Make-Ahead Tips: Prepare the dough and pesto a day ahead to save time.
