Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil; mix until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  • Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.

Baking

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Spread the dough onto a greased baking sheet; press your fingers into the dough to create dimples.
  • Spread minced garlic and sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Drizzle with olive oil and let it rise for another 20 minutes.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Drizzle with spicy hot honey before serving.

Notes

Tips: Use bread flour for a chewier texture. Substitute mozzarella for a milder flavor. Add fresh herbs for extra zing. Experiment with different toppings like olives or sun-dried tomatoes.
