Ingredients
  

Fried Rice

  • 3 cups cooked rice cold and preferably day old
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 3 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 to 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

For Finishing

  • 2 green onions thinly sliced

Instructions
 

  • Melt butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Add eggs and cook gently until just set.
  • Add rice and stir to combine.
  • Season with soy sauce, salt, and pepper and cook until heated through.
  • Finish with green onions and serve.

Notes

Add soy sauce gradually to control saltiness and adjust to taste.
