Ingredients
  

Base

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour

Marshmallow Layer

  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallow cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a baking dish.
  • Cream butter and sugar, then mix in egg and vanilla.
  • Mix in flour and press dough into baking dish.
  • Bake base until lightly set.
  • Mix marshmallow cream with butter and vanilla and spread over base.
  • Bake until marshmallow layer is set, then cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Allow bars to cool fully before slicing for the best texture and clean edges.
