Ingredients
  

For the Bagel Dough

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt thick yogurt works best
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds for topping
  • 1 tbsp mixed seeds chia, flax, or sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl until evenly combined.
  • Add Greek yogurt and stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth and cohesive.
  • Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape each into a bagel.
  • Place bagels on the baking sheet. Brush with egg wash if using and add seeds or cheese toppings.
  • Bake until lightly golden and cooked through, then cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

Use thick plain Greek yogurt for the best texture. If the dough feels sticky, add flour gradually while kneading. Slice and freeze bagels for quick toasting on busy mornings.
