Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough

Classic Margherita Toppings

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

BBQ Chicken Toppings

  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup cooked chicken shredded
  • 1/2 red onion sliced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • Cilantro for garnish

Preparation

  • Combine yeast and warm water in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat your oven to 475°F. Place the pizza stone in the oven to heat.

Assemble the Margherita Pizza

  • Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer to a floured baking sheet.
  • Spread tomato sauce over the dough. Arrange mozzarella slices evenly on top. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Assemble the BBQ Chicken Pizza

  • Roll out the second half of the dough. Spread BBQ sauce over the base, leaving a small border.
  • Top with shredded chicken, red onion slices, and cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer the pizza to the pizza stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
