Equipment

  • 1 Skillet for frying
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 wire rack for cooling

Ingredients

Chicken and Breading

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Assembly

  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

Optional

  • Olive oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese. Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer to a wire rack to drain excess oil.

Assembly

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Slice the slider buns and arrange them on a baking sheet. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Place a piece of crispy chicken on each bun, followed by mozzarella cheese. Cover with the top half of the bun. Brush the tops with garlic butter if desired.

Cooking

  • Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving. Enjoy these sliders warm for the best experience.

Storage

  • Store any leftover sliders in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to maintain crispiness.
