Ingredients
  

For the batter

  • 1 cup Maida (all-purpose flour)
  • ¾ cup Cornflour (cornstarch)
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder Adjust to taste for spice level
  • to taste Salt
  • ½ tbsp Garam Masala
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • as required Water To make the batter smooth

For the cauliflower fry

  • 500 g Cauliflower (fresh & clean) Cut into florets
  • as required Breadcrumbs For coating
  • as required Oil For frying
  • as required Tomato Sauce or Mayonnaise For serving
  • as required Coriander For garnishing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Clean and cut the cauliflower into florets.
  • In a bowl, mix maida, cornflour, red chili powder, salt, garam masala, black pepper powder, ginger-garlic paste, and water to make a smooth batter.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret in the batter, then coat with breadcrumbs.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a pan for frying.
  • Fry the coated cauliflower florets until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce or mayonnaise and garnish with coriander.

Notes

For a healthier twist, try baking the battered cauliflower instead of frying. Let leftovers cool completely before storing.
