  • Gather all ingredients. Mince the garlic and set aside. Chop optional add-ins if using.

Cooking the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain the pasta, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

Making the Sauce
