Equipment

  • 1 Large pot for boiling pasta
  • 1 Large skillet for sauce
  • 1 Whisk to mix sauce

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz angel hair pasta

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Garnish

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Additional Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook until al dente, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the heavy cream and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring well. Bring to a gentle simmer and slowly whisk in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water, a little at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Serving

  • Serve the pasta immediately, garnished with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Storage

  • Place any leftover pasta in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove, adding a splash of cream or water to loosen the sauce.

Notes

Pro Tips: Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor. Grate your own Parmesan for a creamier sauce. Don’t overcook pasta; it should be al dente. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
Ingredient Substitutions: Use coconut milk for a dairy-free version. Add grilled chicken or shrimp for more protein.
How to Serve: Pair with a green salad or roasted vegetables. Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
Storage & Freshness: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat with a splash of cream to refresh the sauce.
Make-Ahead Tips: Prep garlic and grate cheese ahead of time for quicker assembly.
