Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden and fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook briefly until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
  • Reduce heat slightly and stir in the heavy cream. Let the sauce warm gently.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use freshly grated Parmesan for a smoother sauce. Chicken thighs can be substituted for breasts for a juicier texture. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to three days.
