  • 24 cherry tomatoes
  • 24 fresh basil leaves
  • 24 small mozzarella balls bocconcini

  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

Preparation

  • Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Drain the mozzarella balls and set them aside.
  • Take a skewer and thread a cherry tomato, followed by a basil leaf and a mozzarella ball. Repeat the process until all ingredients are used up.
  • Place the assembled skewers on a serving platter and ensure they are evenly spaced.
  • Just before serving, drizzle balsamic glaze over the skewers for added flavor.
  • If not serving immediately, cover the platter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 4 hours.
  • Remove the skewers from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving.
  • Store leftover skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
