  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese cubed
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Assembly

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, basil, and garlic. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  • Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it evenly to ensure even baking.

Baking

  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden top, switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes.

Serving

  • Allow the pasta bake to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh basil leaves if desired.
