Equipment

  • 1 Skillet large
  • 1 pot for pasta
  • 1 Whisk

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine

Instructions

Preparation

  • Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce

  • In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning, whisking until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

Combine and Serve

  • Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the skillet. Stir to combine all ingredients, ensuring everything is coated with sauce.
  • Serve the Cajun Chicken Alfredo hot, garnished with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.

Storage

  • Transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of milk to thin the sauce if needed.
