Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced peaches, blackberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and flour. Toss gently to coat the fruit evenly.
  • In another bowl, mix together the flour, oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in the cold butter using a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour the fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish. Evenly distribute the crisp topping over the fruit.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit juices are bubbling.
  • Allow the crisp to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the juices thicken.
