Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken in olive oil until golden brown on both sides.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts in a baking dish. Top each breast with mozzarella slices and tomato slices. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  • Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the mozzarella is melted and bubbly and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the top before serving.
