Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 1 1/2 lb salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Sauce

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

For Serving

  • 3 cups cooked rice

Instructions
 

  • Cook rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
  • Season salmon lightly with salt and black pepper.
  • Cook salmon in olive oil until flaky and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, garlic, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • Simmer sauce until slightly thickened.
  • Return salmon to skillet and coat with sauce.
  • Serve salmon over rice and garnish as desired.

Notes

Use low sodium soy sauce if preferred. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
